Temporary Employment

PINFRA prioritizes the employment of the inhabitants residing in the communities surrounding the development; therefore, in line with UN goals 1 and 8, we have provided temporary employment to hundreds of people, in addition to the approximately 1,800 day laborers registered in the Company.

In this way, we are able to generate a positive impact through which we improve the quality of life of the communities both indirectly and directly through our operations.

Code of Ethics

Our code of ethics, conduct and transparency is applicable to all our employees, including directors and board members. Through this instrument, we encourage respect and communication both within the PINFRA team and with the communities surrounding its operations.

Thanks to the good practices sought by our policies, we have been able to develop the work mentality in the people of the surrounding communities where PINFRA hires. This with the intention of supporting the collaborators and in case it is feasible to hire them permanently or give them a better position within the company.

Direct Employment

When hiring the necessary workers to develop its activity, PINFRA prioritizes collaborators belonging to the communities surrounding its projects and concessions, so that a large part of our workers live minutes away from their workplace. In this way, we create a positive synergy through which we provide opportunities, quality employment with benefits above those required by law, while improving the infrastructure and accessibility of the locality.


Streets

Since accessibility and the construction of infrastructure is an indispensable factor for the development of any locality, PINFRA reinforces its commitment to the communities surrounding its operations by building sections of streets and roads to improve communication and roads, thus improving the quality of life of the inhabitants near the places where PINFRA carries out its activities.

Maintenance

In line with the above, PINFRA has maintained streets and community roads, free of charge, in order to support the community. Thanks to these activities, a significant improvement has been achieved in the infrastructure of the towns near the Company's operations.







Reforestation

Due to the fact that our business activities make it necessary to remove some hectares of natural areas; in order not to deteriorate the environment, PINFRA maintains a reforestation program. In this way, we support the quality of life of the communities in which we operate.

Environmental Management

We have an Environmental Management System based on the ISO 14001:2015 standard, which allows us to identify, prevent and control activities, operations and processes that may cause any impact on the environment; thanks to this we avoid damaging the ecosystems of the communities surrounding PINFRA's operations, and thus maintain a continuous improvement of our environmental performance.

Wildlife conservation

In accordance with the UN's goal 14, we have implemented a fauna conservation program with which we seek to help preserve the wildlife in the areas surrounding our developments. We have a team specialized in the necessary care for this purpose and through which we seek to protect the native biodiversity of the places where PINFRA has a presence.
